Beautiful earth riches worked into dynamic, energetically-helpful designs.

Semi-precious stone beads and freshwater pearls combined with handcrafted Bali silver. Strung on nylon-coated steel with sterling clasps and findings. Double crimp beads used to finish.

I worked previously for two years as the in-house bead jewellery designer at Art of My Heart, TD Square, downtown Calgary, Alberta.

Note: Sterling does tarnish over time, but a quick rub with a silver polishing cloth makes it shine again. Many of the beads I use are already oxidized and don't need much extra care. The smoother beads do require a little polishing at times, but a whole necklace can be cleaned in about five minutes. Storing them in Ziploc bags with the air removed also helps.

White coin pearls. Sterling hooks. Closed hooks can be switched for regular shepherd hooks.

Rose Quartz Pendant - $25

This is a substantial chunk of rose quartz! It's a good 3/4 of an inch deep. It has an ornate bale and would have to go on a sturdier chain or cord.

It would look amazing on a very long, thick sterling chain.

Set in sterling.

Rhodocrucite and Pink Opal Pendant - $30

Rhodocrucite on the bottom, pink opal on the top, set in sterling silver with a hinge in the middle.

This pendant is a little over 2 inches long from the top of the bale to the bottom and about 1 inch wide at the base.

Agate Dzi Beads and Yak Bone Necklace - $40

Brown agate dzi beads with yak bone. Sterling clasp. 18 inches.

Tibetan Turquoise, Agate, and Copper-Coloured Metal Beads SOLD

This one's a beauty. The picture doesn't do it justice. Large Tibetan turquoise centre bead with two different kinds of agate, more Tibetan turquoise, some African turquoise (jasper), and copper-coloured metal beads.

26 inches. Hangs to mid-chest.

Because this design contains beads made of non-precious metal, it is not for people with allergies to metals - unless they're wearing a turtleneck!

Protector in the Dark: Long Hematite and Handmade Bali Silver Combination Necklace

Industrial Romantic style. Dramatic. Hematite is an ore that is shaped into beads. It's a powerful material - my hands and wrists get sore if I work with it too much! It has a Plutonic feel to me - emotionally protective, especially when interacting in the modern world. Very nice in combination with Bali silver. 28.5 inches.
